This Privacy Policy explains how the “Board Game Tracker” mobile application (the “App”) processes data.

The controller of personal and technical data processed by the App is the individual who created the App (the “Controller”).

The App may process Google account data voluntarily provided when signing in: first and last name, email address and profile photo.
Photos uploaded by the user may be stored in Firebase Storage to provide App features.
Firebase may automatically collect technical and statistical data, including device type and model, operating system and App version, usage information, errors and crashes, and approximate country or region derived from the IP address.
IV. Purposes and legal bases
Data is processed to enable sign-in and authentication, store and display user data and photos, keep the App secure and operational, diagnose errors and improve the App.
The legal bases are Article 6(1)(b) GDPR — performance of a contract — and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR — the Controller’s legitimate interest in security, diagnostics and development.
V. Data retention
Google account data is retained until the App account is deleted. Photos are retained until the user deletes them or the account is deleted.
Firebase technical and diagnostic data is retained under Google’s policy:

The Controller does not sell users’ personal data.
Data may be processed by Google LLC, the provider of Firebase and Google Sign-In, including on servers outside the European Economic Area, particularly in the United States. Google’s Privacy Policy applies:

The App uses Firebase Authentication and Firebase Storage, which apply safeguards aligned with ISO/IEC 27001 and the GDPR. Connections to Firebase are encrypted with HTTPS/TLS.
IX. Cookies and similar technologies
The App does not use cookies for advertising or user tracking. It may use localStorage or IndexedDB to remember settings and operate correctly.
X. Final provisions
The Controller may update this Privacy Policy following functional or legal changes. The updated version will be published in the App or on the website.
